The KynSHOT RB5015HD is a hydraulic recoil buffer engineered specifically for pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs) that use a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube with a 7” internal depth. It’s designed as a straightforward drop-in replacement and is compatible with virtually any buffer spring currently available.
Developed in collaboration with Blitzkrieg Components, the RB5015HD is built to cut felt recoil by up to 30%. This reduction helps improve overall shooting accuracy, minimizes muzzle rise, and allows for faster target reacquisition. In many cases, shooters can stay on target through their optic without needing to reposition after firing.
This buffer performs best in PCC builds with barrel lengths of 8 inches or longer, as well as in all suppressed PCC setups. It functions reliably across all 9mm ammunition types. Its weight and dimensions are carefully tuned for PCC platforms to ensure smooth cycling, reduced recoil, and proper bolt travel—stopping just behind the bolt catch. The patented hydraulic system absorbs the rearward energy of the bolt carrier, helping to eliminate bolt bounce during chambering.
The RB5015HD is also compatible with A5/AR-10 buffer tubes (7.75” internal depth). When using this configuration, it should be paired with the KynSHOT spacer weight (P/N: R1505098).
For CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback systems, no spacer weight is required. However, if you’re running a carbine-length buffer tube with a CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback bolt carrier group, the RB5000HP model is recommended instead
